Sunday's Homily from Father Whittaker.
~ Palm Sunday~
Holy Week without the public celebration of Palm Sunday, the Triduum, and Easter is a sacrifice for the public and private health and safety of us all.
To help ease that loss, our volunteers have mailed a blessed palm, Easter holy card, and reminder Easter offertory envelope to 600 parish households. I hope you will receive yours soon.
Join Archbishop Wenski at the cathedral for Palm Sunday and Holy Week celebrations and for the opportunity to pray for those infected, their families and care givers, and for an end to this disease.
May Mary Mother of Good Health grant her intercession and solace.
Blessings of Easter,

Holy Week, our commemoration of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus is also the week when we expect the greatest suffering
from the disease now upon us.
Deprived of our public celebration, we carry in our hearts the words of St. Paul, “I fill up in my own flesh the sufferings of Christ for the sake of His body the Church. On the cross Our Blessed Lord said, “It is finished.” Now St. Paul says. “It is not finished as long as we carry the crucified Lord and His sufferings for the sake of the Church,
the Mother of all who suffer.”
Pray in this sacred time for the affected and whose who care for them, for the deceased and their families, and for an end to this disease through the intercession of Mary, Mother of God
and Mother of the Church.
The musicians of Our Lady of Mercy Church have provided you a blessing of music for Holy Week.
